Our Story......

   I have always loved cooking for family and friends and having them over to the house to eat.  So naturally when I started smoking meat it meant developing sauces and rubs to compliment what I was cooking.  With the encouragement from my wife, family and friends I started vending and discovered that a lot of other people enjoyed it as well.

   Looking into starting a restaurant, we contacted several friends to see if they knew of any place affordable that we could use.  Pat Pearson told me of a contest where the City of Marion and a building owner had teamed up to do a shark tank styled pitch night contest that offered a space to put in a business.  I entered the contest and had to do a presentation in front of about 200 guests and a panel of 5 judges.  I won the grand prize and the people’s choice award.  My wife and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to provide the best BBQ we can make to serve this wonderful community.  The support we have received is beyond measure and we are thankful.
